The Assistant Night Manager will play a critical role in the hotel operations.  Reporting to the Front Office Manager and the Night Manager, this is a full-time, salaried position and will be part of a small dedicated team responsible for a number of areas, including, but not limited to:

Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction
Managing the night audit process
Managing & training team members
Assisting with the daily operation in Front Office
Up-selling and promoting the business at every opportunity
Handling Reservations and managing revenue  in the absence of the Reservations Manager
Ensure cashiering is 100% accurate at all times
To be successful in this position you must possess and demonstrate:

An energetic hands on management approach
Experience in a front desk role in a hotel of a similar operational size
Have excellent customer service skills, problem solving and time management skills
Consistently deliver, in a helpful manner, informative advice on our products and services that exceeds the quality and standards of Guests expectations
Impeccable grooming and style standards
A strong team player and exceptional motivational skills
Solid organisational skills and an exceptional eye for detail
Ability to have fun coupled with a can do attitude
Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to develop working relationships
Availability to work a rotating roster, including public holidays
Previous experience within Front Office is preferable and the ability to work a flexible seven day roster is essential.
